    Grow your career as a Full-Stack Java Developer with an innovative global bank in Jersey City, NJ. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

    Contract Duration: 6+ Months **Required Skills & Experience**

    + BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Application, Data Science, or equivalent

    + 3+ years of hands-on Java or .NET coding and implementation experience.

    + Must have strong front-end development experience including Web Development, Kendo UI, and Micro front-end frameworks.

    + Hands-on Angular (preferred) or React experience.

    + Strong Java development experience preferred, with experience with .NET and Python also acceptable with ability to grow skills in Java.

    + Experience working with APIs and Microservices.

    + SQL Server and Elasticsearch

    + Bitbucket and CI/CD

    + Must be comfortable participating in technical discussions.

    + Highly motivated, self-starting individual willing to work in a dynamic work environment.

    + Work under pressure, manage conflicts and challenges.

    + Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Desired Skills & Experience

    + Financial Services or Banking experience.

    What You Will Be Doing

    + Work on a cutting-edge web platform

    + Hands-on development of Web Application front-end, API and database programs.

    + Ensure application functions correctly and code meets development standards.

    + Follow application development standards and processes and establish end to end traceability of changes.

    + Will perform Coding, Unit Test, Code Reviews and Release changes.

    + Provide Level 3 application production support, debug issues, provide fixes and optimize performance.

    + Gain exposure to various Capital Markets businesses at a major global bank.

    + Build experience while working in a global development team.

    + Deliver high quality work and consistently meet requirements and standards, plans and prioritizes.

    + Involving/doing system/component design & implementation with counterparts globally.

    + Takes ownership to resolve difficult issues, even when not clearly within own area of responsibility.

    + Communicate and work closely with peer developers of global team.
