Our client, a leader in environmental health and safety, is seeking an EHS Program Coordinator to join their team. As an EHS Program Coordinator, you will be part of the safety and compliance department supporting various initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** EHS Program Coordinator
Pay Range: $40-50
What's the Job?
+ Support EHS programs and policies related to emergency response, fire prevention, and operational readiness.
+ Oversee the EHS framework deployment within the Bay Area region.
+ Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate local EHS initiatives, guidelines, programs, and training.
+ Assist in delivering emergency response programs, including drills, planning, equipment setup, and air quality monitoring.
+ Conduct hazard assessments and provide mitigation guidance.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety science, occupational health and safety, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 3+ years of proven experience in leading and managing teams.
+ Solid understanding of environmental, health, and safety management practices, principles, and procedures.
+ Excellent organizational, communication, research, and analytical skills.
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
