Job Description
Geneva General Hospital seeks a motivated Nutritional Services Manager to join our team!
Position Summary
The Nutritional Services Manager provides leadership, planning, and guidance to supervisors to ensure the effective operation of the department. This role continuously seeks opportunities to improve departmental performance and exceed customer expectations. Additionally, the manager coordinates services to achieve established goals and enhance overall efficiency.
Education
Minimum: BA or BS Degree in related field.
Preferred: Diet Tech or Dietitian degree
Experience
Minimum: Three years previous food management with leadership abilities.
Preferred: Hospital/health care setting experience; Diet Tech or Dietitian experience
Skills
Minimum: Demonstrated ability to supervise and gain the cooperation of all employees while exhibiting initiative and sound judgment. Proven ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity health system. Skilled in project management, working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple priorities. Adept at fostering teamwork through effective role modeling. Familiar with NYSDOH and other food service regulations. Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication (both written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills. Capable of dealing effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Computer literate with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Salary Range: $68,450 - $96,539 annually
