    Job Description

    One of Insight Global's largest and most valued Energy Service clients is seeking a Service Systems Specialist to join their growing team. The candidate will troubleshoot and repair building automation system field cabinets and peripheral devices. They will attend training sessions, apply learned skills, and perform Preventative Maintenance tasks while assisting lower-level technicians. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing end devices, configuring modules, and troubleshooting network issues. The candidate will make complex program and graphic changes, understand project specifications, and communicate technical issues to management and senior technicians. They will generate system backups, perform warranty service calls, and maintain company tools and materials. The candidate will handle database tasks, upgrade the building automation software suite, and create daily service reports. They will mentor lower-level technicians, keep projects on track, and engage in solutions-based discussions with stakeholders. The candidate will support Service Contract customers, manage time effectively, and act as the primary technician on complex contracts. They will promote a performance-based culture, ensure quality and safety standards, and foster open communication and high performance within the team.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -3 years plus relevant work experience in the field or relate area that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the job.

     

    -Self-starter attitude that is inquisitive, intuitive and has a willingness to learn and grow.

     

    -Ability to document daily tasks, plan and prepare for tasks assigned.

     

    -Familiarity with the Automated Logic hardware product line and network architecture is required.

     

    -Commitment to open door and comfort with production floor presence and contact with all field employees.

     

    -Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation.

     

    -Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.
