Job Description

The Azure Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role involves automating processes, developing infrastructure as code, and training team members to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Automation and DevOps: Utilize Azure Automation and Azure DevOps to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Training and Development: Train and mentor team members in cloud technologies and best practices.

Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.

Scripting: Create and manage shell scripts and scripts in Linux for automation and system management.

Python Development: Use Python for hands-on development and automation of infrastructure tasks.

Project Management: Lead Azure migration projects, including lifting and shifting systems from on-premises to the cloud.

Continuous Improvement: Post-migration, support and optimize the infrastructure for increased efficiency and performance.

Day-to-Day Activities:

Lead and execute Azure migration projects, transitioning systems from on-premises to the cloud.

Train and support team members in Azure technologies and best practices.

Continuously support and optimize the cloud infrastructure post-migration to enhance efficiency and performance.

Skills and Requirements

Proven experience as an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer.

Expertise in Azure Automation and Azure DevOps.

Demonstrated ability to train and develop others in cloud technologies.

Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible.

Strong shell scripting skills.

Experience with scripting in Linux.

Hands-on experience with Python for infrastructure development.

Ability to coach and drive work within a team. Experience with SAP systems and integration. null
