Job Description:
As the Product Manager for the Conversion Accelerator Toolkit USA at DXC Technology's Insurance Software and BPS business (ISB), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our extensive portfolio of tools and products. This role blends technical leadership, product strategy, and cross-functional team management to deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced, SAFe® Agile environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the adoption of Product Management best practices and driving the successful delivery of the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
_Product Leadership:_
+ Serve as the Product Manager for the Conversion Accelerator, owning the end-to-end release lifecycle.
+ Strategize and manage the product roadmap, collaborating with Offering Managers, Product Leaders, and Delivery teams.
+ Oversee the entire product lifecycle from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
+ Champion the adoption of Product Management best practices to optimize product performance and innovation.
_Team & Stakeholder Management:_
+ Lead a multidisciplinary team of developers, architects, and business analysts across global locations.
+ Foster a collaborative environment across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and geographies.
+ Act as a liaison between account teams, project teams, and customers, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
+ Ensure effective cross-functional team management to drive project success and stakeholder satisfaction.
_Execution & Delivery:_
+ Drive release planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring compliance with SAFe® Agile practices.
+ Manage resource planning, budgeting, and scope negotiations.
+ Prepare and gain approval for Statements of Work (SoW), whitepapers, and release documentation.
+ Ensure timely delivery of the product roadmap and alignment with strategic business objectives.
_Data & Innovation:_
+ Leverage data-driven decision-making to guide product direction and prioritization.
+ Apply AI/ML literacy to support intelligent feature development and innovation.
+ Lead experimentation and prototyping efforts to validate ideas and navigate uncertainty.
_Insurance & Data Expertise:_
+ Bring deep experience in the Insurance industry, especially Life & Annuities.
+ Lead data migration and data conversion projects with a focus on quality and compliance.
_Financial & Administrative Oversight_ :
+ Monitor release budgets, forecasts, and financial performance (P&L).
+ Manage vendor contracts, licensing, procurement, and invoicing.
+ Conduct performance reviews, timesheet approvals, and team evaluations.
+ Plan, define, and realize benefits for each tool in the Conversions portfolio.
_Required Qualifications:_
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 12+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and product management.
+ Proven experience in Insurance, data migration, and Agile delivery.
+ Strong command of Jira (SAFe®), Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Teams.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
+ Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
_Nice to Have:_
+ Experience with data conversion in insurance systems.
+ Background in AI/ML applications in enterprise software.
+ Familiarity with Lean Business Cases and WSJF prioritization.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $105,100 - $195,200.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
