• Payroll Clerk Consultant- Ogden, Utah (Onsite)

    As a Payroll Clerk Consultant, you will play a crucial role for our client, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes. Based in Ogden, Utah, this fully onsite position requires a meticulous and experienced professional who can handle various payroll-related tasks with precision.

     

    + Compile payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, union dues, and employee identification numbers from time sheets and other records.

    + Prepare computer input forms, enter data into computer files, compute wages and deductions, and post to payroll records.

    + Review computed wages and correct errors to ensure payroll accuracy.

    + Record data concerning the transfer of employees between departments.

    + Maintain records of leave pay and nontaxable wages.

    + Collaborate with managers and time approvers to correct time entry discrepancies.

    + Respond to inquiries via phone or electronically regarding pay discrepancies or questions.

    + Bachelor’s degree

    + 3+ years of experience with payroll software such as ADP, Ceridian, PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle, and/or Ultimate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

    + Proven experience in payroll processing and data entry

    + Effective written and oral communication skills, and strong attention to detail

    + Strong problem-solving and consultative skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment

    + Ability to work in a variety of client environments in a collaborative manner with all departments, employees and management

    + Experience working in matrix organizations and complex work environments with a natural ability to drive results through influence and initiative

    + Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.

    + Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.

    + Pay Range: $30-45/hour
