    Power Platform Developer - Shaw AFB - Onsite

     

    Teksouth is seeking a **Power Platform Developer** with an Active Secret Clearance to support our Air Force client and customers within the AFCENT Area of Responsibility (AOR). This role focuses on leveraging Microsoft's Power Platform to modernize business processes, replace legacy tools, and develop innovative solutions for data analytics and decision-making. The ideal candidate has experience in Power BI and Power Apps and is comfortable working with financial and operational data within Air Force systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and develop Power Platform solutions, including Power BI dashboards and Power Apps, for government and commercial clients.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

    + Convert existing business processes and tools (such as Access databases) into Power Platform applications.

    + Ensure project deliverables meet quality, completeness, and compliance requirements.

    + Stay up to date on best practices and emerging technologies in Power Platform development.

    + Provide training and guidance to users on developed solutions.

    + Work within the AFCENT AOR, which includes diverse environments across the Middle East, requiring adaptability to dynamic operational needs.

    Required Qualifications

    + **6 years** of experience in software development, data analytics, or a related field.

    + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

    + Active **SECRET** security clearance - required.

    + **Technical Skills:**

    + Strong experience in Power BI development.

    + Familiarity with Air Force financial systems (WAWF, BQ, CRIS, FMSuite, ABSS, DTS, DMO, DEAMS).

    + Understanding of Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Power Platform.

    + **Soft Skills:** Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and make independent decisions.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience designing and developing Power Apps solutions.

    + Familiarity with documenting solutions, processes, and best practices.

    + Experience working with Air Force financial processes.

    + Prior experience supporting projects within the AFCENT AOR.
