The Team
We are seeking a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to join American Tower’s Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) team. The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) leads and assists with the completion of a variety of corporate finance functions, including Quarterly Forecast, Capex Planning, Long term Plan, Annual Budget, consolidation of quarterly financial and statistical information to support the earnings release process, and the drafting and coordinating of analytical reports provided to senior management and the board of directors. The incumbent will also partner with the Global Data Governance team to ensure the integrity of data. The incumbent will use business knowledge and financial expertise to continuously identify opportunities and needs for new and improved reporting and analytics to further drive business decision-making. The FP&A Manager will support the analysis of potential mergers and acquisitions, business development activities, capital markets transactions, treasury operations and the preparation of rating agency and investor relations materials, as well as other ad-hoc requests.
What You Need to Succeed
+ Bachelor’s degree required.
+ Between 7 to 10 years of experience in a business environment in a Corporate financial planning or Corporate financial analysis role preferred.
+ Accounting knowledge of income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows required.
+ Experience with Oracle EBS, TM1, Oracle Reporting Suite, or Essbase preferred.
+ Strong finance skill set with a solid understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows.
+ Strong ability to collaborate with global finance, operations and IT teams to identify reporting and analytics opportunities, design modules and implement new capabilities.
+ Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks to meet requirements and deadlines.
+ Ability to work in a time-sensitive, high volume environment.
+ Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees throughout the organization to effectively and professionally achieve results.
+ Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
+ Detail oriented.
+ Able to multitask, meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
+ Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and work with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions.
+ Creative and analytical thinker.
+ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn other software tools.
+ High-level Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and complex formulas.
+ Working knowledge of financial reporting and information systems and reporting tools and/or the capacity to learn.

+ Support Quarterly Forecast process including Cash Flow and Capex Planning, Annual budget consolidation process and Long Term Plan.
+ Consolidate and validate financial and statistical information from global markets and corporate departments to support quarterly earnings release process
+ Coordinate and prepare review materials for senior management on consolidated results and individual submissions from business units
+ Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and analytical reports and board of directors materials
+ Conduct analyses and create financial models, primarily on an ad hoc basis, for senior management
+ Use creativity to illustrate complex business decisions in financial models
+ Maintain relationships with global finance teams to ensure quality deliverables and proper information flow
+ Support capital markets transactions, treasury operations and the preparation of rating agency materials
+ Support the Investor Relations team with quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations and ad-hoc requests
+ Ensure seamless integrations between the Company’s planning and global reporting platforms by managing Oracle/OBIEE and TM1 development efforts between corporate IT and global finance teams.
+ Drive the development and collection of external and internal financial and operational key performance indicators, coordinating with the Global Data Governance team to develop and communicate consistent data standards and definitions.
+ Foster relationships with global Finance, Operations and IT teams to ensure continued engagement and active participation in order to drive the future and effectiveness of global reporting and analytics.
