Executive Assistant
Opportunities for Otsego is seeking a flexible team player to join our Admin team working closely with our Chief Executive Officer in a wide variety of agency-wide responsibilities. As Executive Assistant you will:
+ Communicate on behalf of the CEO with Board members, donors, employees and community members on a regular basis
+ Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO
+ Prepare CSBG (Community Services Block Grant) refunding applications, program progress reports, and annual program reports
+ Maintain corporate records relating to the board of directors, including the preparation of minutes, board and committee packets and board files; assure board documentation is up to date
+ Oversee a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including preparation of purchase orders and check requests, correspondence, and supplies inventory
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in business or non-profit administration or related degree; five years’ experience supporting executive management, preferably in a non-profit organization; experience in internal and external communications, partnership development, and fundraising; proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms; valid, unrestricted New York State driver’s license.
