Requirements:

+ ASE certification is desired

+ Current Class D - Regular Driver's License (Auto, Light Truck, Moped) Required with a good driving record

+ 18 or older Required

+ Read and comprehend instructions and information

+ Excellent oral and written skills

+ Able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily

+ Possess a high school diploma or the equivalent

+ Work comfortably with the public

+ Tidy, professional appearance

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

+ The Auto Service Technician is a learning technician who is able to perform diagnoses and repairs, as assigned.

+ Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership standards.

+ Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.

+ Communicates with the Service Advisor to obtain needed parts for the repair.

+ Examine the assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.

+ Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.

+ Road test vehicles when required.
