**Position Summary:** Sr Analyst Application Development

Sr Analyst, Application Development Engineer is responsible for the techno-functional impact analysis, design & code construction activities associated with development of software releases for the CVS Retail Pharmacy systems. Strong technical, functional, and interpersonal skills are key to perform this role successfully. The current suite of systems includes multiple applications including, but not limited, to the Tier 1 systems for Retail Pharmacy. The Advisor will partner and collaborate with the development manager, business analysts, architects, quality assurance, business partners, developers, and project managers to deliver Business change and innovation into our Java based business applications software. The Advisor will be involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and must be able to deliver an efficient solution, as well as identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production.

Required Qualifications

+ 2+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications

+ 2+ years of experience as full stack developer in Java-based technologies

+ 1+ years of experience with React.js

+ The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

+ Mastery of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

+ Command of architecture, design, and business processes

+ Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

+ Expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goal.

+ Passionate about building an innovative culture.

+ 1+ years of experience in modern programming languages and cloud-based technologies.

+ 1+ years of experience in Agile development practices

+ Expert knowledge of software engineering best practices with experience building complex software engineering products

+ Extensive experience with building and driving adoption of software engineering best practices

+ Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architectures

Preferred Qualifications

+ 1+ years of experience in Retail Pharmacy or Healthcare domain will be preferred.

+ Fosters a culture of continuous open feedback within teams and business unit.

+ Experience working with distributed teams, working across multiple time zones and geographies.

+ Ability to influence and inspire teams to align technical direction.

+ Ability to create and execute innovation roadmaps.

+ Have contributed to open-source technology and Developed patents.

+ Ability to learn/work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.

+ Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational goals.

+ In-depth experience with building application programming interfaces (API) and frameworks in their field. Experience in API security, analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modifications

Education

+ Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,310.00 - $158,620.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
