    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer / Architect to join our team. In this critical role, you will design and implement robust, scalable, and modern data architectures to support our enterprise operations and analytics needs. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in data architecture, a deep understanding of cloud and distributed systems, and expertise in advanced data governance practices.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Architect and implement modern data solutions, including cloud platforms, data lakes, and enterprise data warehouses (EDWs), to meet organizational goals.

    + Develop and maintain complex data models (relational, dimensional, NoSQL, graph) using best practices and normalization techniques.

    + Design and build end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration of structured and unstructured datasets.

    + Provide hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, with a focus on Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Snowflake ecosystems.

    + Oversee data governance frameworks, including metadata management and master data management (MDM), ensuring compliance and reliability across the organization.

    + Optimize database performance, manage capacity, and address data storage concerns through effective database administration practices.

    + Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to deliver robust and actionable insights through modern BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.

    + Support advanced analytical tasks and initiatives, including machine learning applications and graph analytics when applicable.

    + Mentor and guide junior data engineers and architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Skills:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field; a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.

    + 7+ years of experience in data architecture for large-scale enterprise environments.

    + Proven expertise in modern data architecture concepts, including cloud platforms, distributed systems, data lakes, and data warehouses.

    + Strong grasp of data modeling techniques (relational, dimensional, NoSQL, graph) and best practices for database design and optimization.

    + Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing, transformation, and analysis.

    + Experience with enterprise-grade database administration (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) and performance tuning.

    + Strong knowledge of data governance principles, metadata management, and master data management (MDM).

    + Hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies, especially Azure, GCP, and Snowflake.

    + Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.

    + Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    + Experience with machine learning or advanced analytics tools (e.g., graph analytics) is a plus.
