Description We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee the efficient operation of a portfolio of commercial properties in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves managing all aspects of facility maintenance, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained and functioning efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of properties and address any maintenance issues promptly.
• Develop and implement solutions to enhance the value and functionality of the assigned properties.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial reports, and operational plans.
• Negotiate and manage service contracts, coordinate bid processes, and supervise work performed by vendors and contractors.
• Lead facility-related projects with strong project management skills to ensure timely and effective execution.
• Ensure compliance with tenant lease agreements and oversee accurate billing and payment processing.
• Stay up-to-date with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards to maintain compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and stakeholders, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of property management systems and procedures. Requirements • 3-5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a commercial property setting.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical structures.
• A detail-oriented certification such as certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information effectively.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in computer applications and property management software.
• Ability to work independently and deliver reliable, courteous service to tenants and stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel as needed, with occasional overnight stays depending on portfolio requirements.
