Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in Belville, North Carolina. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial operations in the housing and construction sector. The ideal candidate will excel in reconciliation tasks, compliance management, and working with detailed financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

• Prepare and post journal entries to support month-end close processes.

• Oversee compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

• Handle indirect job costs and manage data using advanced spreadsheet tools, including pivot tables.

• Collaborate with multiple banks to manage interest allocations and other financial transactions.

• Support land acquisition processes by analyzing costs and financial implications.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain complex financial models and reports.

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close procedures to meet reporting deadlines. Requirements • Proven experience with account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.

• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and compliance regulations.

• Experience in the construction, housing, or real estate industries is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to manage indirect job costs and large financial datasets.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with working across multiple banking relationships is a plus.
