Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client's dynamic team in the advertising and/or media industry. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of accounting experience, a solid foundation in audit from a public accounting firm, and strong expertise in US GAAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role and work closely with the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial records are accurate and timely.
+ Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
+ Lead financial reporting efforts, providing comprehensive insights to senior management.
+ Manage cash flow analysis and ensure liquidity needs are met.
+ Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial operations.
+ Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional growth and development.
Requirements:
+ 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the advertising/media industry.
+ Strong foundation in audit experience from a public accounting firm.
+ Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
+ Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
+ Proven track record in managing month-end close and preparing financial statements.
+ CPA certification required.
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proficiency in key financial processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and budgeting.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Hands-on experience with cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial systems.
• Solid understanding of auditing practices and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
