    Job Title: Financial Analyst

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Mountain View, CA. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing analytical support, delivering actionable insights, and assisting in the decision-making process. You will analyze financial data, create forecasts, and prepare reports that directly influence the organization’s long-term financial goals. The position requires strong financial acumen, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Analysis and Reporting:

    + Analyze financial performance, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends and potential risks or opportunities.

    + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on key financial metrics for management review.

    + Support variance analysis by comparing actuals, forecasts, and budgets.

    + Maintaining the GL and ensuring compliance

    Budgeting and Forecasting:

    + Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.

    + Provide recommendations based on analysis to optimize financial performance.

    + Conduct scenario modeling to support decision-making and strategic planning.

    + Data Management:

    + Gather, interpret, and present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.

    + Ensure accurate and timely reporting through maintaining organized datasets and compliance with internal controls.

    + Collaboration with Teams:

    + Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, accounting, and senior leadership, to monitor financial results and provide actionable insights.

    + Develop financial models and tools to assist team leaders with planning and resource allocation.

    Process Improvement:

    + Identify opportunities to improve processes for financial reporting and forecasting through automation and best practices.

    + Recommend and implement financial planning technologies or strategies that enhance efficiency.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; an MBA or related certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.

    + Prior experience as a financial analyst (1-2 years)

    Experience:

    + 1–2+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.

    + Hands-on experience using in-depth Excel, Power BI and/or Tableau

    Skills:

    + Strong proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for experience in systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle

    + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and financial modeling

    + Familiarity with financial reporting tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

    Soft Skills:

    + Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    + Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
