Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Fogelsville, Pennsylvania. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering a part-time schedule of four hours per day, Monday through Friday, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on business needs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks and demonstrate proficiency in managing day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly documented.

• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.

• Perform month-end closings and generate financial reports.

• Manage data entry tasks to update and maintain financial databases.

• Oversee account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage all bookkeeping functions, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

• Assist with additional financial tasks as needed to support the growing business.

Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial principles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

• Experience with bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent data entry skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.

• Familiarity with generating financial reports and supporting audits.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
