    Robert Half HR Solutions is currently partnering with a client that is looking to add an experienced Senior Director of Compensation to oversee their organization’s comprehensive compensation program. This Sr Director Compensation will manage a team of 14 compensation professionals and will focus on building out scalable, innovative compensation solutions for a rapidly growing, multi-state healthcare company. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset with a passion for fostering equitable pay practices and ensuring alignment with industry standards. Prior experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred, and proficiency with Workday is a plus.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Strategic Leadership:

    + Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's overall compensation strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.

    + Stay current with market trends, industry benchmarks, and regulatory requirements to maintain competitive and compliant compensation structures.

    + Team Management:

    + Lead and mentor a team of 14 compensation professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

    + Define team priorities and allocate resources effectively to meet both strategic goals and operational needs.

    + Program Design and Execution:

    + Build scalable, data-driven compensation frameworks, ensuring alignment with business needs and a rapidly growing workforce in the healthcare sector.

    + Implement and manage compensation programs, including base salary structures, variable pay programs, incentive plans, and equity compensation

    + Design pay-for-performance strategies that attract, retain, and reward top talent while promoting equity and transparency.

    + Analysis and Reporting:

    + Conduct market analyses, survey participation, and pay equity studies to ensure the organization remains competitive.

    + Partner with HR and Finance teams to perform workforce planning by leveraging compensation data and analytics to drive meaningful insights.

    + Technology and Process Optimization:

    + Leverage Workday to streamline processes, automate workflows, and enhance data integrity in compensation practices.

    + Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance the effectiveness and administration of compensation programs.

    + Collaboration and Communication:

    + Partner closely with HR leadership, recruiters, and business leaders to respond to market changes and evolving organizational needs.

    + Communicate compensation philosophy and strategies across all levels of the organization, ensuring buy-in and transparency.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

    + A minimum of 10+ years of progressive compensation experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

    + Deep understanding and application of compensation principles, federal/state pay laws, and market analysis practices.

    + Experience building and managing compensation programs within a healthcare environment (strongly preferred).

    + Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS/compensation management systems (a plus).

    + Proven experience managing and developing a team, with excellent leadership and organizational skills.

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    Preferred Skills and Attributes:

    + Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) a plus.

    + Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

    + Demonstrated ability to design and implement large-scale compensation strategy initiatives.
