Description
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Taunton, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide strategic financial leadership and partner with Sales teams to drive profitability and operational excellence. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on organizational success.
Responsibilities:
• Drive customer profitability initiatives by maintaining system integrity, fostering adoption, and expanding utilization.
• Analyze and report on key financial metrics, providing actionable recommendations to enhance margin and profitability.
• Develop and present scenario models for customer profitability to support decision-making for sales and strategy teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on trade spending and slotting investments.
• Lead compliance efforts for trade promotion deductions, ensuring accurate reporting and governance.
• Manage financial closing processes for trade funds, sales returns, allowances, and brokerage expenses.
• Maintain and update rebate contract databases, ensuring data accuracy and audit compliance.
• Evaluate open liabilities, monitor accrual reserves, and perform true-ups to maintain financial discipline.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Partner with auditors to address sales-related audit inquiries and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Requirements • Proven experience in finance management, preferably within a sales or revenue-focused environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, such as 3M, ADP Financial Services, and Concur.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems and their integration with financial processes.
• Expertise in accounts payable, auditing, and budget management.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct profitability analysis and deliver actionable insights.
• Familiarity with trade accounting, governance, and compliance processes.
• Skilled in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
