Description

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a hybrid schedule, partially in office in Fishers, Indiana. This partially remote position offers the opportunity to work on resolving underpaid claims, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with various parties to ensure accurate reimbursement. Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve underpaid claims by reviewing explanation of benefits (EOBs), contracts, and hospital claims.

• Identify and escalate discrepancies in insurance payments or contract loads for resolution.

• Collaborate with hospitals, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate claims processing.

• Utilize in-house technology to streamline workflows and develop innovative solutions for claims management.

• Analyze claims data and prepare all necessary documentation to support efficient processing.

• Manage a dedicated subset of client accounts with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

• Audit and verify claims to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and payment terms.

• Provide input and recommendations to improve current processes and enhance team efficiency.

Requirements • Strong knowledge of medical claims, including insurance payers and denials.

• Proficiency in medical billing systems, including Epic Hospital Billing.

• Familiarity with Medicaid billing and hospital billing processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

• Willingness to embrace new technologies and contribute to process improvements.

• Self-motivated with a critical eye for detail and accuracy.
