Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a national entertainment and hospitality organization for a newly created Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. This is a newly created role with significant visibility and impact, offering the opportunity to shape financial planning efforts across multiple business units within the organization. Key Responsibilities

+ Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes across multiple divisions.

+ Partner with cross-functional leaders (e.g., production, marketing, sales, operations) to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for growth and operational efficiency.

+ Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario planning, investment decisions, and new business initiatives.

+ Analyze key business drivers, including viewership metrics, ticket sales, advertisement revenue, and production costs.

+ Prepare and deliver executive-level dashboards, reports, and board presentations that highlight performance and actionable insights.

+ Monitor and explain variances against budget/forecast and provide data-driven recommendations.

+ Act as a strategic liaison between Finance and key departments including Accounting, Strategy, and Business Development.

+ Drive enhancements to FP& A tools, reporting automation, and data integration processes.

+ Stay current on industry trends, competitor benchmarks, and emerging technologies to inform planning assumptions and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.

+ 5+ years of progressive FP& A experience, with a strong preference for candidates from entertainment, sports, or media sectors.

+ Advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling), PowerPoint, and experience with ERP and planning tools such as NetSuite, Power BI, or Tableau.

+ Strong financial acumen and ability to distill complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

+ Highly collaborative, self-motivated, and capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in FP& A, with a preference for candidates from the entertainment, sports, or media industries.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, as well as experience with PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with financial planning tools such as NetSuite, Power BI, or Tableau is highly desirable.

• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.

• Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
