    Job Overview:

    Medical Telecommunicator-Communications Training Officer (CTO) for Mobile Health.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)

    + IAED or APCO or NECI Basic Telecommunicator (BTC)

    + IAED Emergency Medical Dispatcher-Advanced (EMD-A)

    + HAZMAT Awareness

    + CBRNE/WMD Awareness

    + ICS 100

    + ICS 200

    + NIMS 700

    + ICS 800

    Preferred:

    + Associates Degree

    Certifications and Licenses Required:

    + American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)

    + IAED or APCO or NECI Basic Telecommunicator (BTC)

    + IAED Emergency Medical Dispatcher-Advanced (EMD-A)

    + HAZMAT Awareness

    + CBRNE/WMD Awareness

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Full-Time, Days

    + 40 hours per week

    Essential Functions:

    + Medical Telecommunicator-Communications Training Officer (CTO) for Mobile Health, with 2 years of medical dispatch experience within RWJBH

    + The CTO will be tasked with educating and onboarding of the new medical telecommunicators

    + The CTO is responsible for answering 9-1-1 telephone calls and other telephone calls, screening them according to the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) ProQA system and dispatching the appropriate resources

    + The CTO will utilize a Computer Aided Dispatch system, radio communications system, and telephone system to communicate with units in the field, update their status on assignment, and ensure the safety of all personnel

    + This position requires superior communication skills and customer service skills
