Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Ripon, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic machinery manufacturing industry while leveraging your expertise in accounts payable and accounting systems.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, matching them with purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy.

• Manage account coding and input data into accounting software systems.

• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

• Utilize ERP systems, including SAP, for efficient financial operations.

• Handle accrual accounting processes and prepare necessary reports.

• Coordinate payment methods such as Automated Clearing House (ACH) and other automated systems.

• Audit accounts payable records to maintain compliance and accuracy.

• Process purchase requisitions and maintain proper documentation.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to financial transactions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts payable workflows. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including SAP and ERP platforms.

• Strong knowledge of account coding and accrual accounting practices.

• Experience with Concur or similar expense management tools.

• Familiarity with payment methods such as ACH and automated systems.

• Ability to perform accurate 3-way matching for invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
