Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Akron, Ohio. The ideal candidate will handle a wide range of accounting tasks, ensuring smooth financial operations and accurate record-keeping. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently. This is a direct hire position with standard in office business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including payments and collections.

• Reconcile financial accounts to ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Handle billing tasks, including generating customer statements and resolving discrepancies.

• Process purchase orders and follow through with order-related documentation.

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain organized and precise financial records.

• Support order processing activities as needed, ensuring all transactions are completed correctly.

• Assist with envelope stuffing and other clerical duties as required.

• Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to analyze and organize financial data.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Strong proficiency in invoice processing and account reconciliation.

• Familiarity with billing procedures and purchase order handling.

• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.

• Ability to multitask and adapt to a busy and dynamic work environment.

• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
