    Overview

     

    Provide didactic instruction to students in the Sonography Program at Machon L'Parnasa

    Responsibilities

    + Teach courses within the Sonography curriculum that coordinates with clinical experience

    + Develop course objectives, lesson plans, curriculum, syllabus

    + Design, prepare, and develop teaching material that conforms to the AIUM, SDMS and JRCDMS guidelines regarding sonography education

    + Instruct and evaluate students and report progress, utilizing Touro instructional tools (i.e., Canvas, etc.)

    + Cooperate and participate in periodic review and revision of course material and program materials

    + Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development

    Qualifications

    Education/ Experience

    + Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent related experience.Master's Degree preferred.

    + Teaching experience

    + For sonography specific courses, RDMS certification required.

     

    Knowledge /Skills/ Abilities

     

    + Familiarity in online learning platforms including Banner, Canvas, Blackboard, & Adobe Connect.

    + A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion.

    + Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues.

    + Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal).

     

    Maximum Salary

     

    USD $4,200.00/Sem

     

    Minimum Salary

     

    USD $3,000.00/Sem
