    Your Impact at SAM

     

    The Staff Surveyor is responsible for supervising field crews and survey technicians to ensure the successful execution of large-scale land surveying projects. This role collaborates closely with other Project Surveyors and teams to meet project scope, schedule, and quality standards as defined by the Survey Project Manager.

     

    + Coordinate with professional surveyors and project teams to execute survey scopes and timelines in alignment with project objectives

    + Supervise and provide direction to field crews and survey technicians on large-scale land surveying projects

    + Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including responsibility for signing and sealing plats, field notes, and drawings

    + Mentor and train technicians on state-specific survey requirements, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures, and company standards

    + Support the achievement of company goals by performing additional tasks as assigned

    What You Bring to SAM

    + Demonstrated ability to efficiently execute professional land survey tasks

    + Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale survey projects

    + Strong technical skill set, including AutoCAD and MS Office

    + Professional Land Surveyor License
