Our Wireless Technology organization is transforming the future of connectivity. We’re doing it by building the country’s first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from scratch. The foundation of a connected world, it’s a network free of the limitations of the past, and flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

+ Support RF Engineers in automating processes and enabling tools for optimization of the DISH 5G network

+ Support the RF Optimization Team to develop and implement RAN metrics and KPIs

+ Provide direction and support for DISH market drive testing, including vendor management and tool roadmaps

+ Foster partnerships to drive innovation and automation in network design, deployment, and optimization

+ Enable data analytics and AI/ML models for the network monitoring, operations and assurance

+ Automate repetitive tasks through scripting

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline (computer science or electrical engineering degree preferred)

+ 7+ years of experience working within the wireless industry

Skills and Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with Wireless network architecture technologies, concepts, and industry standards

+ Experience in RF Design or Optimization in a multi-technology network environment

+ Skilled in RF optimization, network automation, and optimization processes and tools

+ Knowhow in RAN Performance Metrics

+ Proficiency in database platforms

+ Experience coding in Python

+ Familiarity with AI/ML models and data science projects

+ Mastery with RAN optimization tools

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
