The Epic Inpatient Manager is responsible for leading the Epic Inpatient Applications team to ensure successful implementation, optimization, and support of Epic's Inpatient modules (e.g., ClinDoc, Orders, Stork, ASAP, Beacon). This role works collaboratively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to align the EHR system with organizational goals, promote clinical workflow efficiency, and enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead, manage, and mentor a team of analysts and specialists supporting Epic and other Clinical Inpatient applications.
+ Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to assess needs and implement workflow improvements.
+ Manage project timelines, scope, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
+ Coordinate issue resolution, system upgrades, and ongoing support in collaboration with Epic TS, vendor and internal teams.
+ Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission, etc.).
+ Serve as liaison between IT, clinical departments, and Epic for inpatient-related initiatives.
+ Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding project status, issues, and performance metrics.
