    Join us! System One is assisting a client looking for the best Electronic Technicians—those who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves to grow with their organization, personally and professionally!

     

    In an exciting and challenging fast-paced environment, their Electronics Technicians install electronics/electrical systems and ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Installs electronic/electrical systems.

    + Ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation.

    + Calibrates all electronic/electrical equipment.

    + Knowledge of functionality and troubleshooting of Load Cells

    + Understand PLC controls and programing

    + Utilize the CMMS System to develop PM schedules and Job Plans

    + Ability to read and understand electronic schematics

    + Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.

    + Must have ability and desire to work with others.

    + Meets attendance requirements.

    + Performs other duties as deemed necessary.

    What You’ll Need:

    + Commitment to safety

    + Minimum high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. required.

    + Post-secondary education degree in electronics, or equivalent, preferred.

    + Minimum of two (2) years' experience in repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems is preferred..

    + Previous maintenance experience in a steelmaking environment preferred.

    + Ability to pass written electronics exam.

    + Strong work ethic

    + Willingness to learn

    Will be required to submit to a criminal background investigation. Urine and hair follicle drug screening will be required upon offer of employment. Applicants must be able to provide a High School Diploma/GED and post secondary education certificate upon hire.
