Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our innovative team focused on developing next-generation mRNA therapeutics and optimizing peptide/antibody designs. This role involves the integration of artificial intelligence with high-throughput experimental characterization, offering an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of molecular biology and computational design in a cutting-edge research environment.
Responsibilities
+ Design and execute molecular biology experiments to validate AI-generated therapeutic designs.
+ Perform DNA/RNA/protein production and purification to support therapeutic development pipelines.
+ Conduct mammalian cell culture experiments and analyze results to inform computational models.
+ Collaborate with computational biologists to integrate wet lab data with AI models.
+ Engage in viral production and purification for high throughput assays.
+ Conduct next-generation sequencing.
+ Execute immunology assays to evaluate therapeutic efficacy and safety profiles.
+ Document and present experimental results to cross-functional teams.
+ Stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies in the field.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related field.
+ Strong hands-on experience with molecular biology, DNA/RNA/protein production, and purification techniques.
+ Demonstrated expertise in mammalian cell culture methods.
+ Proficiency in viral production systems and their applications.
+ Experience conducting immunology assays and interpreting results.
+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate experimental data for computational applications.
+ Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
+ Publication record demonstrating expertise in molecular biology techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with organoid models.
+ Understanding of computational biology, machine learning, or AI applications in drug discovery.
+ Experience with high-throughput experimental design and data analysis.
+ Knowledge of mRNA therapeutics development pipelines.
+ Experience with peptide or antibody optimization techniques.
+ Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis.
Work Environment
The position is based in an onsite laboratory, providing access to state-of-the-art facilities for drug design. The work is research-based with the goal of publishing findings, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in the field.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
