Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Technician to carry out various tasks in our Quality Assurance Department. The ideal candidate will provide excellent attention to detail, have experience in Microsoft Office applications, possess good communication skills, and have previous quality assurance experience in the food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct in-process quality checks.
+ Perform testing on finished products and raw materials.
+ Carry out post-sanitation inspections and allergen testing.
+ Review sanitation paperwork.
+ Manage the completion of the Master Sanitation schedule.
+ Oversee ingredient and supplier documentation.
+ Document and communicate ingredient or product non-conformances.
Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ A two-year degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or equivalent work experience.
+ A four-year degree in the aforementioned fields is a plus.
+ Experience in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), Sanitation, and manufacturing in a food or dairy facility.
+ Ability to attend GMP, FSMA, Food Defense Awareness, and Allergen Training.
+ Compliance with all requirements of the SQF Program.
+ Adherence to all GMP Requirements.
+ Provide or obtain a Pasteurization License within 6 months of hire.
Work Environment
The role is based in a food manufacturing environment where adherence to sanitation and quality standards is paramount. You will work with a range of technologies and equipment related to food safety and quality control. The position requires compliance with dress codes and safety standards, ensuring a clean and secure workplace.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
