    As an Electrical Engineer, you will oversee a team responsible for addressing electrical engineering issues across five production facilities. You will ensure compliance with the Engineering Lead Bus Specialist process, provide technical guidance, and interact with management and production personnel to align daily priorities. Your role will include monitoring performance metrics, delegating tasks to balance workloads, checking engineering work such as PLC programs, and collaborating with suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee a team that addresses electrical engineering issues across five production facilities.

    + Ensure compliance with the Engineering Lead Bus Specialist process, including proper tracking of issues.

    + Provide technical guidance to team members to help resolve technical issues.

    + Interact with production facilities’ management and production personnel to align priorities each day.

    + Participate in or run daily meetings to ensure priorities are set.

    + Monitor the group’s performance metrics to ensure timely resolution of issues.

    + Manage and delegate issues among the team to balance workloads and meet timelines.

    + Check engineering work, especially PLC programs.

    + Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues related to vendor components.

    + Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and timelines for issue resolution.

    + Train new employees on their duties and on the vehicle electrical system.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical engineering

    + PLC programming

    + Electrical/PLC troubleshooting

    + Management and logistics experience

    + Electrical design

    + Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 5+ years of experience in Electrical/PLC troubleshooting and programming

    + Logistics planning or management experience

    + Ability to develop and support team members

    + Ability to lead a team without a managerial title

    + Willingness to travel between Crookston, MN, Pembina, ND, and Winnipeg, Canada

    Work Environment

    The position is based in Crookston, MN or Winnipeg, Canada, with travel between these locations required. You will be stationed primarily at one of these facilities but will move between sites as needed.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
