Job Title: Laundry Attendant
Job Description
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for operating various laundry equipment such as small piece folders, feeder/spreader/ironer/folder, hot head press, and heat seal machines. You will manage the entire process of collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing. The role requires independence and strong decision-making skills while maintaining a high standard of service.
Responsibilities
+ Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Feed and catch clean linen at an acceptable rate.
+ Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
+ Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
+ Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with cleaning, sorting, and folding laundry.
+ Ability to operate laundry equipment including small piece folders and heat seal machines.
+ Good decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous production or any laundry experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
