Job Title: CNC Machinist
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming, machine set up, and operating manual mills and lathes (both horizontal and vertical) up to 2 and 3 axis. You will primarily work on machining large steel collars, split-covers for trunny-shafts, spacers, and plates and beams for bridge-related projects.
Responsibilities
+ Programming CNC machines.
+ Setting up tools in the machine.
+ Operating manual mills and lathes up to 2 and 3 axis.
+ Machining large steel collars, split-covers, spacers, and plates and beams for bridge projects.
+ Working with steel and stainless steel materials.
Essential Skills
+ 6 months to 5 years of experience as a machinist.
+ Knowledge in programming and editing programs.
+ Experience in setting up tools in the machine.
+ Proficiency in operating large manual mills and lathes.
+ Familiarity with Haas and code programming.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to wear multiple hats and assist team members.
+ Experience in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment
Our small shop requires candidates to be comfortable with wearing multiple hats and helping out the team. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with potential shifts from 6:30am to 3:00pm or extended hours from 5:30am to 8:00pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
