    Job Description

    The Senior Quality Technician - Laboratory position is responsible for managing the quality lab and its activities. This role involves performing dimensional analysis on new production parts and analyzing part capability during the production phase cycle. The technician will manage all calibration activities for gauges and validate products, fixtures, and tooling for the engineering and manufacturing departments. Additionally, this position ensures that the quality workload activity meets the engineering, production, and customer needs for lab activity.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform dimensional analysis on new production parts.

    + Analyze part capability during the production phase.

    + Manage calibration activities for gauges.

    + Validate products, fixtures, and tooling for engineering and manufacturing.

    + Ensure quality workload activity meets engineering, production, and customer needs.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in PPAP, Quality Assurance, Calibration, Quality Inspection, Quality Control, and Visual Inspection.

    + Experience with APQP, QMS/ISO/IATF Systems, and Internal Auditing.

    + Strong computer skills.

    + Knowledge of IMDS, Blueprint Reading, PCDMIS, Polyworks, and CMM Programming.

    + Familiarity with MSA (AIAG core tools), Calibration, and GD&T.
