    Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

     

    Pay: $28.50-38.50/hr

     

    Shift: 2nd and 3rd

    Job Description

    As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for electrically troubleshooting issues using a meter and possessing an intermediate level mechanical troubleshooting skillset with robotics and welding equipment. You will be tasked with repairing components, replacing faulty components and equipment, and navigating robotic movements using a teach pendant. You must also have intermediate welding knowledge and processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Electrically troubleshoot issues using a meter.

    + Perform intermediate level mechanical troubleshooting with robotics and welding equipment.

    + Repair components and replace faulty components and equipment.

    + Navigate and troubleshoot robotic movements and edit/modify programs via teach pendant.

    + Utilize intermediate welding knowledge and processes including MIG, Spot, and Stud welding.

    + Safely operate equipment such as hand tools, surface grinders, torches, hydraulic jacks, welders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and drill presses.

    + Perform intermediate troubleshooting of welding equipment and systems.

    + Troubleshoot lubrication processes and understand when and what type to use.

    + Provide coaching and direction to Weld Maintenance Mechanics Level I.

    + Participate proactively in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements.

    + Perform preventative maintenance and provide input for updates to preventative maintenance schedules.

    + Understand shim logs and nominal shim count, and make shim adjustments under guidance.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

    + Blueprint and schematic reading.

    + Preventive maintenance knowledge.

    + Electrical troubleshooting skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED).

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    + Minimum of five years of machine repair experience.

    + Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

    + Intermediate knowledge of relevant robotic controls and processes.

    The work environment is a climate-controlled and very clean facility, with highly automated equipment and processes. The pace is mid to high, and steel-toed shoes are required on site.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Spartanburg, South Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
