    Job Title: HVAC Installer

    Job Description

    We are looking to hire 2 HVAC Install Technicians to join our commercial construction team, specializing in government projects at Federal, State, and Local levels. Our projects include work at military facilities, hospitals, airports, and university campuses. Most work is local, within 45 miles of our shop, with occasional projects throughout the state of Wisconsin.

    Responsibilities

    + Install HVAC systems and ductwork in commercial settings.

    + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation.

    + Perform sheet metal work related to HVAC installations.

    + Conduct installation work in new construction and renovation projects.

    + Test and balance HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.

    + Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to safety protocols.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-9 years of HVAC installation experience preferred.

    + Proficient in HVAC functional design and ductwork installation.

    + General knowledge of HVAC low voltage systems.

    + Ability to test and balance HVAC systems.

    + Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No certification required but preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    This position requires working 40+ hours weekly in a physically demanding role. The environment is mostly indoors but includes some outdoor work in various weather conditions. Typical work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with current technicians working between 45-50 hours weekly. Proper PPE, including hard hats, steel toes, vests, and safety glasses, must be worn at all times.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poynette, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
