Job Title: Welder - MIG & TIG Specialist
Job Description
Join our team in manufacturing stainless steel tanks primarily for the dairy industry, where precision and quality are paramount. This role involves food-grade welding, requiring skills in MIG and TIG welding, grinding, and fabrication. We provide opportunities for in-house certification and professional growth.
Responsibilities
+ Perform MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead.
+ Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, custom fabricate, or grind materials as necessary to meet technical requirements.
+ Control the processes of fitting, burning, and welding to prevent overheating, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage of parts.
+ Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.
+ Solve problems related to fabrication tasks.
+ Perform overhead welding.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in MIG welding with at least 3 years of experience.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.
+ Problem-solving skills in fabrication tasks.
+ Capability to weld overhead and in various positions.
+ Experience with stainless steel and aluminum.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ TIG welding experience and ability to get certified in-house.
+ Proficiency in setting up and welding any metals unsupervised.
+ Efficiency in welding operations at 95-100%.
+ Ability to train others and supervise a small team.
+ Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in tank production.

Work Environment
Work in a newly opened, state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern amenities including a workout facility, cafeteria, and arcade. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday to Thursday from 5 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime available after training. Employees can opt for additional hours on Fridays and weekends. Our facility offers a professional yet relaxed atmosphere, promoting a balance between work and personal life.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
