State Certified General Electrician - must have commercial solar experience

Job description:

+ Install electrical service equipment and wiring for commercial solar systems, including inverters, conduit, wiring, service disconnects, panelboards, switchboards, transformers, and monitoring equipment

+ Commission and maintain solar systems, including voltage testing, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of parts

+ Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers to ensure systems meet all electrical and building codes.

+ Adhere to OSHA and product safety standards, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance

+ Assist in project preplanning, including reviewing plans, manpower, sequencing, material requisitions, and subcontractor scopes

+ Maintain effective communication with project managers, engineers, and clients

+ Develop construction schedules, create daily progress reports, and track site activities

+ Collaborate with subcontractors, temporary labor, electricians, and team on planning and quality control

Qualifications:

+ Valid Journeyman Electrician license

+ At least 3 years of experience with commercial solar installations

+ Strong understanding of electrical systems and proficiency with heavy and basic building equipment

+ Ability to travel and work on sloped roofs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $60.00/hr.
