    Job Description

    Perform manual operations throughout Fabrication and Machining, including loading equipment and various tasks within the fabrication process. This role involves operating CNC and manual milling machines, assembling tooling, and performing manual operations in fabrication assembly.

    Responsibilities

    + Loading and operating CNC and manual milling machines.

    + Reading and following a tool list to assemble required tooling and set tool offsets using touch probes and/or Pre-Setter.

    + Performing manual operations in fabrication assembly, including riveting, masking, gasket installation, sealing, mechanical assembly, and epoxy bonding.

    + Running various fabrication equipment after setup, including Haeger, press brakes, shears, punch presses, spot welders, metal finishing machines, and CNC machines.

    + Completing all process/product-related documentation and inspection for the work performed.

    + Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations.

    + Keeping the product, equipment, tools, supplies, ESD, part handling, and inventory points within fabrication orderly.

    + Assisting and interfacing with all areas of Manufacturing.

    + Documenting actions by completing production and quality forms.

    + Contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed.

    + Operating per established Company Policies and Procedures.

    + Performing other tasks as assigned by Management.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of CNC Press Brake experience (AMADA required)

    + Machining experience with tolerances, tooling, setups, and teardowns.

    + Metal fabrication experience, including cutting, punching, and grinding of sheet metal.

    + Machine setup and operation expertise.

    + Ability to read blueprints, calipers, height gauges, and assembly documents.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This is a very clean and climate-controlled environment. We pride ourselves on fostering a positive working culture, and new employees must be able to get along well with others. The work schedule is a 1st shift (5x4x9 schedule – 44 hours week 1, and 36 hours week 2). Example schedule: Monday – 8a-12p, 12:30-4p; Tuesday – 6:30a-11:30a, 12p-4p; Wednesday – 6:30a-11:30a, 12:00p-4p; Thursday – 6:30-11:30, 12:00p-4p; Friday – 6:30-10:30. The second week follows a similar pattern.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEWIS CENTER, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
