Job Description Summary

We're seeking a self-starting intern who can utilize large data management and analysis tools to perform data management and reporting functions and assist in sample design, sample selection and analytic studies and data provision related to the time variant energy usage characteristics of customers, classes or groups of customers, and various levels of the electric system serving customers across all AEP rate jurisdictions.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

+ Assist in providing data needed for analysis of customer, group, or system energy use characteristics, including interval metered usage, customer and premise information, weather data, demographic data, and survey responses.

+ Assist in analyzing historical and projected future customer, class, group and system load characteristics.

+ Perform research to resolve analytic result irregularities.

+ Assist in the development of new analytic procedures to meet new analytic requirements.

+ Develop concise, meaningful written reports and provide to various internal and external customers.

+ Support Load Research Analysts in the development of new reporting.

+ Understand Load Research sample design and selection standard procedures and practices

+ Assist in sample design and sample selection for representing various class or group populations

What We're Looking For:

Education** : Completion of **Junior Year** in a 4-year collegiate program in **Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or Data Analytics.

+ Must be 18 years old or older.

+ Prefer local to Columbus area (within 40 mile drive)

What You'll Get:

+ Compensation Range: $25 - $32/hour
