Job Summary:
Under general direction, this position is responsible for aligning business objectives to people solutions within assigned client group(s). This role collaborates with internal and external partners to respond to business and/or employee needs. People Business Partners act as business professionals, team member champions, and change agents. This position will deliver strategic HR support and programs to the organization from partnering with clients on compliance, performance management, career development to advising on various management issues. This role may be aligned to larger, more complex client group(s). This position supports front-line managers through Sr VP level; may support EVP depending on organizational structure. This position will have multiple levels of employees reporting to them.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with client groups. Coach, consult and empower leadership, by providing People guidance when appropriate.
• Uses business and HR acumen to analyze trends and metrics in partnership with various Centers of Expertise. Proactively develop solutions, programs, policies and opportunities for learning. Raises concerns/trends to business leadership, compliance, and legal as needed.
• Leads company-wide Talent Programs within client groups including Annual Talent Review, Performance Review, and Competency Assessment, etc. Participates in process improvement action reviews.
• Consults on client structure, workforce planning, and succession planning to support the business strategy.
• Consults the business to drive strategy focused on engagement and retention of talent. Works with Centers of Expertise to ensure key trends and retention levers are addressed and used effectively.
• Partners with client group to maintain high performance by reviewing trends in management of low performance and employing forward looking thought leadership
• Hire, Lead, motivate, and oversee the training, development and management of employees to meet team objectives.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 6+ years HR/Generalist experience with emphasis on employee relations, labor relations, employee advocacy and cultural change activities AND 3+ years with people business partner experience
+ - OR - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Communications, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field with 4+ years of relevant work experience AND 1+ year of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Communications, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field with 5+ years relevant work experience
+ - OR - Master's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Communications, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field with 4+ years of relevant work experience AND 3+ years of management experience
+ Professional in Human Resources Certification - HRCI or SHRM
+ Skills and Abilities:
+ Ability to respectfully speak up, “push back”, or challenge “the way things have always been done” and even disagree with leaders and executives.
+ Experience influencing business leaders and organizational stakeholders
+ Working-level skill in a variety of HR competency areas such as organizational design and development, leadership development, change management, performance management, and employee relations.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with fluid information.
+ Strong drive and initiative with the ability to self-manage.
+ Demonstrate leadership ability by providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership for specific sphere of influence
+ Basic-level skill implementing HR programs, tools and trainings aligned to the business needs.

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
