    + The QBMP oversees the implementation of the IBSP and collaborates with the Administrator.

    + The QBMP is responsible for working directly with the RBTs and Lead RBTs and providing supervision as per BACB guidelines.

    + The QBMP will model the approach that emphasizes positive behavior supports, person-centered practices and trauma-informed care in their practice.

    + The QBMP will utilize best practices when conducting FBA and developing IBSPs.

    + The QBMP will use objectives to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions.

    + The QBMP employees an array of empirically validate teaching strategies- modeling, incidental teaching, task analysis, chaining, and activity-embedded instructions.

    + The QBMP incorporates a variety of techniques to help with skill building- prompting, errorless teaching, maximizing learning opportunities, effective reinforcement, preference assessment and choice procedures.

    + The QBMP will employ a wide range of strategies for skill acquisition and skill generalization over time and across people, settings, situations, and activities.

    + The QBMP will complete annual clinical Performance Evaluations.

    + The QBMP will meet regularly for supervision with the RBTs and Lead RBTs and provide weekly/monthly updates on the IBSP.

    + The QBMP is responsible for interfacing with the BCBA Director to ensure the clinical needs of the home are being addressed.

    + The QBMP will attend and participate in the weekly/monthly clinical review. The QMP is responsible to contribute to the agenda and provide training as necessary.

    + The QBMP will assume the clinical responsibilities of the Lead RBT in their absence.

    + The QBMP will delegate and/or assume the clinical responsibilities of any Lead RBT vacancies.

    + The QBMP will take an active role in interviewing and hiring process of any RBT and Lead RBT.

    + The QBMP will provide opportunities and encourage the professional development of staff within the home.

    + The QBMP will, in conjunction with the Residential Administrator evaluate and assign caseloads to the RBT and Lead RBTs within the home.

    + The QBMP will collaborate with the BCBA Director in the development of training programs for new and existing RBTs and Lead RBTs.

    + The QBMP will ensure that the RBTs and Lead RBTs have all the clinical materials necessary to perform their job.

    + The QBMP will take an active role in clinical consultations.

    + The QBMP will attend outside conferences and trainings to increase knowledge base to provide a resource to the agency/department.

    + The QBMP will interface with RN’s and other outside consultants to coordinate trainings and to provide the opportunity for joint meetings when appropriate.

     

    Salary Range: $100,000 - $105,000

    SUPERVISION RECEIVED

    Works under the direction of the BCBA Director and the Residential Directors within the home.

    SUPERVISION EXERCISED

    Provides supervision to the RBTs and Lead RBTs.

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    + Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    + Ability to work in a stressful environment.

    SUCCESS FACTORS

    + Extensive knowledge of developmental disabilities, working with adult/children with signification behaviors of concern (e.g., self-injuries, aggression to others, property destruction etc.)

    + Extensive knowledge of clinical syndromes.

    + Knowledge of California’s Lanterman Act and Title 17 regulation and the use of restraint.

    + Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis.

    + Experience training, coaching and mentoring RBTs.

    + Exceptional communication and training skills.

    + Exceptional supervisory and leadership skills.

    + Exceptional ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments.

    + Highly organized and exceptional time management skills.
