    Emergency Medicine Physician (Locum Tenens) Shift Coverage

     

    Job Type: Locum Tenens

     

    Start Date: July 1, 2025

     

    Duration: Ongoing

    Schedule:

    + 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    + 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM

    + 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM

    + 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM

    + 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM

    + Minimum 10 shifts per month

     

    Compensation: $Negotiabe$- Discussed over initial screening

     

    Travel/Lodging: Pass Through

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide emergency medical care in the ER and Fast Track (APP covered)

    + Handle a patient volume of approximately 1.2 patients per hour

    + Utilize the Epic EMR system

    Required Qualifications:

    + Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) within 5 years in ABEM/ABEOM

    + Active California medical license

    + Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and DEA

    + Minimum 1-2 years of experience

    Additional Information:

    + The site will only accept candidates certified or eligible in ABEM/ABEOM within 5 years of residency. Candidates certified in ABIM/ABFM will not be accepted.

    + Looking for 2-3 providers.
