• $70/hr RN Psych Outpatient Clinic

    Amergis (Syracuse, NY)


    Salary: $1414 / Week

     

    *Prior Psych experience is required*

     

    M-F: 8am-5pm. The location is floated between our Outpatient sites: Children and Youth Clinic, OnTrack, Washington Street Clinic and Madison Street Clinic

     

    The length of the contract is 3-4 months. In person interviews will be scheduled

     

    The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing

     

    Current CPR if applicable

     

    TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

     

    Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

     

    Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

     

    Must be at least 18 years of age

    General Comments

    • Job duties include medication administration, health education, medication refill line, clozapine tracking, health assessments, prior authorizations/insurance calls, vital signs, and other duties associated with ambulatory clinic nursing.

    • The schedule is 8:30 am -5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday

    • The location is floated between our Outpatient sites: Children and Youth Clinic, OnTrack, Washington Street Clinic and Madison Street Clinic
