    **Pay:** $25-$43/hr (depending on experience)

    **Schedule** : 1 st shift

    **Type of role** : 6 months contract; possible extension

    **Research Scientist daily tasks** :

    + Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of polymer samples to support vision care research and development projects.

    + Design and execute experiments to for materials characterization, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability of results.

    + Validate analytical methods including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and other relevant techniques.

    + Interpret and analyze experimental data and present findings to internal customers.

    + Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

    + Good documentation and laboratory practice. Good communication.

    Research Scientist Requirements:

    + MS, or B.S in analytical chemistry, chemistry, materials science or related scientific field ( 2+ years with MS, 5+ years for B.S )

    + Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

    + Hands-on experience in wet chemistry, spectroscopy analysis, or separation science ( such as HPLC, or GC etc.)
