Description:
The successful Business Process Engineer uses analytical skills to model business processes and unlock efficiencies within those processes. They will define and create a workflow application in a way that meets the end user’s needs. The Engineer will use workflow software to create process models, build user interfaces and forms, implement business rules and enforce compliance gates. They will provide training and support to the Business Unit, prioritize change requests and implement enhancements. Other responsibilities include managing the maintenance of forms and workflows in the production environment, troubleshooting technical support issues and acting as a liaison with the software vendor and client's IT.
+ Primary function will be development on the Appian platform.
+ Preferred qualifications include experience with: Appian, Business Analysis, and Quality Assurance.
Hybrid - 4 days onsite Monday - Thursday (Friday remote)
Duration: Through December 2025 with possible extension

_Rate: $55 - $68 / hr. w2_
Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
+ Participate in development and implementation of automated process workflow solutions, using a variety of technologies (Java, JavaScript, C#, SSIS) to provide accurate and creative solutions to client problems
+ Recommend and implement solutions to client problems that enhance user experiences (UX)
+ Ability to extract and interpret data to support analytical approach
+ Troubleshoot and triage issues within system and solutions and escalating where appropriate
Quality Assurance:
+ Follow general coding standards and best practices to ensure solutions meet appropriate integrity levels
+ Perform testing through manual and/or automated methods to ensure solutions meet functional requirements
+ Locate adequate data to facilitate testing scenarios
+ Relationship Management:
+ Develop partnerships with team, functional peers, sponsors, and multiple stakeholders
+ Tailor communication appropriately for technical and non-technical audiences
+ Collaborate with vendor teams on integration and support of platform
Continuous Improvement:
+ Identify and implement continuous improvement and innovation opportunities within current technologies
Experience Requirements:
+ 1-2 years of relevant software development experience in an enterprise, internship or academic environment combined with a proven track record of delivery quality solutions on time.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex problem solving.
+ Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills leading to trusting relationships with peers, business partners and their leadership team.
+ Demonstrated relationship builder; able to establish both internal and external working relationships in order to identify and implement strategies for business growth.
+ Able to implement change effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and with associates at all levels and in all areas of the firm.
+ Working Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming (Java preferred), Web Technologies and Architecture, IT Infrastructure and Database Operations.
Education Requirements:
+ BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology Management is preferred
_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
