Location

The position is located in Lenexa, KS.

Responsibilities

+ Perform integrated engineering processes to fulfill project requirements and achieve target dates.

+ Author and review designs, specifications, analyses, and drawings in compliance with engineering principles and applicable standards.

+ Prepare and review design concept drawings for equipment using input from various technical disciplines.

+ Recognizes, defines, and resolves problems within assigned area

+ Compliance with strict quality assurance standards and on time delivery

+ Travel (less than 20% of time)

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited, four-year university.

+ Minimum of five years of experience in design.

+ Knowledge, application and understanding of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes.

+ Excellent attention to detail and capability for producing error-free documents.

+ Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills

+ Knowledge of engineering design practices and principles (e.g. interference checks, tolerance stack-ups, fits, GD&T)

+ Experience with using industry codes to develop equipment design.

+ Experience working with engineers and fabricators to develop designs and drawings

+ Experience in the preparation of P&ID, PFD, and General Arrangement drawings for skid mounted or permanent equipment packages.

+ May work at various different locations and conditions may vary.
