The Program
_Shape the future of Indigenous storytelling in media._
_Join Radio-Canada's innovative paid training program._
As a bridge between First Nations, Inuit, and Métis and Radio-Canada's regional stations, this unique training program will allow Indigenous communicators to share their voices on Radio-Canada's various platforms across the country and contribute to better representation of First Peoples in the media.
Entirely virtual, the paid training lasts 4 weeks (November 3 to November 28, 2025) and will focus primarily on narrative storytelling. Throughout the training, in addition to gaining practical knowledge from Indigenous and non-Indigenous trainers, participants will have the opportunity to express themselves, to tell their stories, and to showcase their community, language, realities, and successes.
**The** **"First Peoples - Tell Us a Story"** program is aimed at all French-speaking and Francophile Indigenous people who have foundational communication skills and can enrich Radio-Canada's content across the country.
_Participants will take the training from their preferred location in the country, in their community if desired, or at a Radio-Canada regional station._
